Job Description

We are currently recruiting experienced Company Man DSV on behalf of a major international Oil Company

Location: Gabon   Offshore

Start Date:  01/08/2019

Duration:  31/10/2019

 

Malaysia KL  . Engineering and Contracting Phase: DEC 18-MARC19

      ▪ 1 Senior Drill Eng.

      ▪ 1 Senior Well Test Eng.

      ▪ 1 Drilling Spdt

Move to Gabon at the end of engineering

 

Gabon Pre-Ops Phase:  APRIL19-JUNE 19

     ▪ 1 Senior Fluids Eng/Fluid Superintendent

     ▪ 1 Logistic Spdt.  French speaking mandatory for this position

 

 

Gabon . OPS phase JULY19-NOV 19

     ▪ 2 HSE Officer (back to back = 4) Onshore + Offshore

     ▪ 2 Day drilling Supervisor + 2 Night Drilling Supervisor

     ▪ 2 Material Coord.

 

 

All technical positions MUST have DeepWater + West Africa experiences

Drilling depth = 2800M of water. Deepest well ever for Petronas

Drillship Unit. Lot of salt formation. No HP/HT

 

JOB DETAILS

  1. i) Represents the Company at the well site, in dealing and overseeing the daily operations of the Drilling Contractor ensuring adequate control and supervision of well construction.
  2. ii) Ensures that all work is done efficiently, safely, and in accordance with approved Drilling Program.

iii) Responsible for the enforcement of Company site specific HSE requirements and policies.

  1. iv) Prepare the loadout lists and submit to Drilling Superintendent for comments.
  2. v) Prepare end of well material reconciliation and all associated documentation in a timely manner.
  3. vi) Supervises the Material man to ensure that equipment is being inventoried properly and the paper work required is prepared accurately.

vii) Develops and issues written instructions to the Drilling Contractor (SID).

viii) Monitors the operations to ensure compliance.

  1. ix) Monitor HSE advisor in monitoring the implementation of Safety Case and management systems.
  2. x) In conjunction with the Drilling Superintendent, Issue instructions to service companies for the timely arrival of required personnel, materials, equipment and services at the wellsite. Prepares material requisitions for items as required.
  3. xi) Ensure that the proper tools and back-ups are available on location and ready for use.

xii) Inspects the drilling equipment frequently to assure that it is being maintained in accordance with terms and conditions of the contract.

xiii) Recommends ways to reduce cost and improve safety.

xiv) Maintains current cost control records of wellsite expenditures.

  1. xv) Review and sign service tickets.

xvi) Ensures that the operations are properly documented (Daily Drilling Report, receiving documents, LOT spreadsheet / graphs, casing/cementing reports, cementing plug reports, casing tallies, BHAs, etc to ensure well records are accurate.

xvii) Company member on offshore accident investigations, incidents and equipment failures that occur on wellsite.

xviii) Direct Night Drilling Supervisor on the tasks required.

xix) Attend pre tour/HSE meetings.

  1. xx) Reports to the Drilling Superintendent.

 

REQUIREMENTS

*Good English proficiency and able to communicate with local.

*Possess valid OPITO-BOSIET and International Well Control Forum (IWCF) level 4 certification

*Pleasant personality and able to interact with local.

*Good knowledge of the Landmark reporting system.

*Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in drilling operations

*Minimum ten (10) years of experience in deep water as Senior Drilling Supervisor.

This job will be on Rotation basis
